Highlights
Palma’s modest size is a key attraction and all the major landmarks are reached easily on foot. Trace the streets from the sandstone cathedral dating back to the 1200s and recently restored by renowned architect Antoni Gaudí to Centro Cultural Can Balaguer on Carrer de la Unió, a mediaeval mansion with grandiose architectural features that have been preserved. In addition to its lively cultural calendar, the city boasts an eclectic mix of restaurants: from Michelin starred fine dining to casual tapas jaunts, in Palma, there is something for everyone.
