A Day Unveiling Mallorca's Hidden Gems
A Day Unveiling Mallorca's Hidden Gems
A journey during which you will spend most of the day off the beaten track, and a unique opportunity to capture Mallorca's true essence and contrasts. In the morning you will drive along the westernmost edge of the Tramuntana, a World Heritage Site. The rural landscape, the mountains that plunge dramatically into the sea, the terraced fields, rustic villages and the view from the medieval watchtower Es Verger will not leave you indifferent. Afterwards you will go to Valldemossa and have time to explore the narrow streets of Moorish origin and to understand why the village attracted writers and artists such as George Sand and Chopin, Rubén Darío, Azorín. Then you will leave the mountain area and travel to the lowlands, where you will enjoy a full Mallorcan lunch before driving to the Bonany Hermitage, a very special place for locals, full of interesting stories. A renowned pearl factory will be the last stop before returning to Palma.
