This monastery was the winter 1838/39 home of the Polish composer Frédéric Chopin and his partner George Sand. Entrance to the monastery is optional and costs approximately €7 (payable on site). Drive past the stunning Palma Cathedral on the way to Valldemossa, with photo opportunities from the bus. Continue to Deià, a small village with just over 850 inhabitants.
