Viewpoints of Valldemossa and S'Estaca
Viewpoints of Valldemossa and S'Estaca
Archduke Ludwig Salvador of Austria had, to his delight, a number of viewpoints built both in the mountains and along the coast. We have linked some of these coastal viewpoints so you can experience the fantastic postcard-like coastline of Valldemossa with the same admiration as the Archduke. This route is suitable for the average hiker. Although some sections can be a bit rough and exposed on cliffs, your guide will make the passages easy to manage. Enjoy views of the coast from different angles. In summer you can take a dip in the beautiful harbor of s'Estaca. During the route we visit several viewpoints, the harbor of s'Estaca, the Hermitage of the Trinity, and the cave of Ramón Llull, a small but cozy cave where this famous philosopher spent a long time. The trail features slippery ascents and up to 500 metres of elevation gain and 5 to 7 kilometres, depending on the chosen route.
