Port d'Alcúdia, a bit further away, offers an even wider range of accommodations, including larger hotels and self-catering rentals. Alcudia town is home to many charming small boutique hotels, although they don't offer sea views.

The town of Pollensa, a 10-minute drive from the port, is a picturesque village with cobblestone streets, great shops, and a lively Sunday Market. A drive up to Cap de Formentor is a must-do. Alcúdia, a medieval-walled town, is a great place to visit for a day or half-day trip from the beach. It's filled with excellent restaurants, shops, and a couple of boutique hotels. Alcúdia has a rich history that includes Phoenician and Greek inhabitants, a large Roman settlement, pirates, Arab invaders, and eventually the Christian conquest. You can find remnants of all these incredible histories along the narrow streets of Alcúdia. Don't forget to visit the nearby Port d'Alcúdia, a lively port town that hosts many festivals and events throughout the summer. For another beach option, Playa d'Alcúdia is a large, Blue Flag beach full of activities, restaurants, and shops, just minutes from the Port. For golf enthusiasts, Golf Pollensa and Golf Alcanada are two excellent 18-hole golf courses with great food and amenities.
