Cap de Formentor

At the northernmost tip of the island, the Cap Formentor lighthouse offers gorgeous views of the neighbouring island of Menorca on a clear day. It's a beautiful spot and it's no wonder why it gets so crowded during the summer months! We had the pleasure of watching the sunrise there last year, and we highly recommend you do the same. It's an incredible experience – you'll be (almost) alone up there, surrounded by cats, goats, and seagulls. The lighthouse stands majestically on a cliff and is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea. The views are truly stunning and if you're lucky, you might even spot a few dolphins and whales in the distance. If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable experience, Cap Formentor won't disappoint. Get there early in the morning to soak up the beautiful sunrise, and you might even find yourself alone in this remarkable spot.

You can marvel at the gorgeous Serra de Tramuntana mountain range to the northwest and the stunning beaches of Porto Cristo to the east. On a crystal clear day, you can even spot the beautiful archipelago of Cabrera in the north and southeast! It's an experience like no other, to be able to take in the captivating beauty of the entire island from one spot - this hilltop is definitely a must-visit if you're ever in Mallorca! Whether it's to capture the stunning landscape with your camera, or just to soak in the breathtaking views and marvel at the beauty of the island, this hilltop will not disappoint!

With the name Castell de Bellver, whose name literally translates to "castle of the beautiful view", the castle dating back to the 14th century offers a unique view of the island capital Palma, the surrounding area, the harbor and the wide sea. From here you can discover the many sights of Palma and enjoy a breathtaking view of the coast. Especially impressive is the location of the castle on the summit of a hill, from where you have an uninterrupted view to the horizon. Let yourself be inspired by the unique view that the castle has to offer above the roofs of Palma!

Talaia d’Alcudia

At the highest point of the La Victoria peninsula in the north of Mallorca, the Talaia d'Alcudia, one has both the idyllic bay of Alcúdia and the beautiful bay of Pollenca at their feet. The climb to the summit is strenuous, but it is worth it, as you are rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of Cap Formentor, Pollenca, Alcúdia, Ca'n Picafort and even Betlem. The view from up here is a must for every visitor and an unforgettable experience. Away from the summit, you can also take a hike along the picturesque coast and explore the numerous beaches and bays that the peninsula has to offer. Whether you climb the mountain on foot or by bike, one thing is certain: the view from up here is a real feast for the eyes.

Son Marroig

The white marble pavilion in the garden of Son Marroig manor is a beautiful sight! The temple is the most iconic wedding venue in Mallorca. With the view of the steeply descending mountains into the sea, the shimmering sea in all shades of blue and the famous hole rock Sa Foradada, it is an incredible panorama that always fascinates the visitor. You can stand for hours and admire the breathtaking landscape and enjoy the beauty of nature to the fullest. If you will get hungry, no worries, then head towards the sea and the restaurant “Chillout Sa Foradada” will appear before our eyes. A few steps further down is “Restaurante Mirador Na Foradada”. But the main star of this place is the restaurant located at the very end of the cliff, the famous “Sa Foradada”.

Puig de Maria

From the 330 meter high house mountain of Pollenca you have a beautiful view of the mountain range of Serra de Tramuntana, Castell del Rei, Vall de Bóquer, the peninsula Formentor, the bay of Pollenca, the peninsula La Victoria, the bay of Alcudia and even up to Cap Farrutx. From up here the houses and streets of Pollenca look like small dots, but you can clearly see that the city has preserved its history and identity. Particularly striking here is the church and the Calvary Hill, a distinctive landmark of the city. But this is not all what Puig de Maria has to offer its visitors, it has a beautiful church and if you wish to relax and get away from it all for a night, you can book one of the cells and sleep at the top of Puig de Maria. Yes absolutely you can sleep there.

Mirador de Ses Animes

The Mirador de Ses Animes (The Tower of Souls) is one of the many defensive towers built along the picturesque coasts of Mallorca to quickly warn of enemy attacks through smoke and fire signals. The tower located on a hill is still very well preserved and still houses the beautiful, old walls. Through a ladder inside, you can reach the small platform from which you can enjoy the incredible, wide view of the terraces typical of Banyalbufar, where wine is still grown today, and the rugged cliffs. The Mirador de Ses Animes is a place full of beauty and history that will captivate every visitor.

Puig Major

No matter where you are on Mallorca, you can almost always see the Puig Major. The name of the mountain means "Big Mountain", and at 1352 meters it is the highest mountain that is always accessible. The Puig Major is however a military restricted area and reaches a height of 1445 meters. The second highest peak, Puig de Massanella offers a breathtaking view of the island. Indeed, climbing to the summit of this mountain is an extraordinary adventure. But it is a place full of magic and beauty, promising an unforgettable experience to every visitor. From up here you can enjoy the beauty and diversity of Mallorca to the fullest.

Puig de Randa

From the 500-meter-high table mountain with the monastery complex on its summit, you have a view of the whole island. The bay of Palma, the mountain range of the Tramuntana and even the Cap de Formentor - it's a stunning sight! Legend has it that the mountain is hollow inside and is supported by four golden pillars. If they break, not only the mountain but all of Mallorca will collapse. "The waves of the sea will break over it, and that will be the end of the world," says a fairy tale. The people also say that three pillars have already broken and the fourth is damaged, though only the locals know this. Many visitors, on the other hand, take the mountain's serpentines in stride to enjoy the view and then reward themselves with a good meal at the Cura monastery restaurant or in the village of Randa at the foot of the mountain. All in all, it's a great adventure!

The view from this place is incredible: you can see the lush green mountains of the Sierra and also spot the port of Sóller with its impressive architecture.
