I like the combination of barefoot atmosphere and attentive service. Also recommend the cliffside restaurant of a boutique hotel – you sit with a view over the bay, the vegetables often come from their own garden and the plates are pared-down but flavorful. Arrival: Canyamel is easy to reach by car; beach parking is usually available. In summer reservation culture starts early – for a dinner on the terrace I recommend 8:00 pm or later, when the heat has gone. Beach restaurants are perfect for families during the day; for romantic dinners reserve the starred restaurant.
