In the lively Santa Catalina neighborhood, right next to the church, Bindi is a small Indian restaurant I have happily visited for years. Everything here feels like home: a compact menu, family recipes and spices that don’t come from industrial blends but from small batches. At midday the changing thali is a real bargain: starter, three of four curries, rice, puri, dessert and water — perfect when you’re hungry and short on time. In the evening the kitchen focuses more on South Indian specialties: dosas, coconut curries, sometimes a fish with tamarind notes. Conveniently, you can set the spiciness for each dish. The wine list concentrates on small bodegas, with some bottles from Mallorca, alongside Indian beers and a few simple but fitting cocktails. Terrace or inside — both have their merits. It’s not a show restaurant but a place where good, honest food matters. If you seek authentic flavors, Bindi is a reliable choice.

Bindi sits on a narrow street at the edge of the small square by the church. You immediately notice: this is less about design and more about taste. Inside the tables are placed close together, sometimes you hear the clatter of dishes from the kitchen; outside there are a few tables for warm evenings. The decor is sparse — some fabrics, posters and plants — giving it a relaxed, personal character. The crowd is mixed: locals, market-goers, regulars and curious visitors. Service is available in English, Spanish or German, often friendly, sometimes hectic when full.

Mineral water is often served with the thali; if you like wine you'll find affordable bottles from small bodegas.
