June is a special time in Mallorca. The island hums with life, with festivals full of tradition, culture and delicious local specialties. From fires on the beach to art nights — there is something for every taste. As summer approaches, authentic local life awakens. Perfect for all explorers and food lovers.
Sant Joan: Night of Fire
On the evening of June 23rd all of Mallorca comes alive when the Sant Joan celebrations begin. It is perhaps the biggest festival of the year — with crackling bonfires, eerie demons, and the tradition of the 'correfocs'. In Palma, crowds gather near the cathedral or at Can Antoni beach to witness the spectacle. Tip: bring candles to enjoy the atmosphere and jump over the flames for luck! The celebrations are also a must in other coastal towns across the island.

It's the perfect occasion to discover contemporary art and perhaps even meet an artist in person! Afterwards, treat yourself to a drink in one of the lively old-town bars.
