When Palma smells of wine at the Parc de la Mar, you know: Raïm is back. On November 15, 2025, the promenade will once again turn into a colorful market of local wines, food trucks and stages with live music. I was there late afternoon last time, when the sun gilded the sea and the atmosphere among families, couples and wine lovers was relaxed, almost neighborly. More than 50 producers offer samples — many focus on autochthonous grape varieties, others surprise with fresh orange wines or sparkling Cavas.
The audience ranges from curious locals to day-trippers who come to the city especially for the festival. Five workshops explain basics such as pairing, showcooking and the new category “wine cocktails” — ideal if you’re looking for something different than the classic tasting. For families there is a children's program and creative corners, so parents can taste in peace. It's best to come with light footwear, bring a reusable water bottle and a bit of curiosity. Entry is free, glasses start at around three euros — a relaxed, decidedly Mallorcan afternoon into the evening.
Raïm Wine Fest Palma – Parc de la Mar
The festival at Parc de la Mar is compact yet intense: more than 50 winemaker stalls, stages with local bands and DJs, and a handful of food trucks offering tapas, burgers and Mallorcan bites. The promenade stays open, with seating on wooden benches and picnic blankets – perfect for sunset tastings. Tip: arrive by bus or on foot; parking is scarce.
Mallorcan winemakers & discoveries
The festival offers a great chance to discover local producers: over 50 stands present a variety of styles — from native grape varieties to surprising orange wines and lively Cavas. It’s ideal for curious wine lovers who want to explore beyond the usual labels.
Workshops, wine cocktails & pairing
The workshops are hands-on: pairing with street food, showcooking and a new session on wine cocktails. Perfect if you want simple explanations of terms like “tannin” or “terroir.” Places are limited; if you want to join, book early or queue in time.
Family-friendly offering
Raïm is surprisingly child-friendly: there are story times, craft stalls and small games so parents can taste in peace. In the afternoon the crowds are still moderate — perfect for families with older children. Bring a small snack for in-between, and remember weather-appropriate clothing, as the Parc de la Mar can get cool in the evening.
