Fewer flights, fewer destinations: understanding Mallorca’s winter schedule

The winter schedule shows twelve fewer airlines and fourteen destinations, with roughly nine percent fewer flight movements and about 1.3 percent fewer passengers. Some carriers are cutting back, while others are growing; Ryanair plans fewer flights, Vueling expands, and Iberia announces strong growth. New or expanded connections from Volotea, Sundair and Aer Lingus rise as well. The result is a smaller international offering and less competition on several routes, which can affect prices and frequencies.
