Santanyí Today: Sunny Autumn Day with Mild 17–24°C

Santanyí reports sun and pleasant temperatures

Strolling today morning across the Plaça of Santanyí, you immediately notice: autumn can be friendly too. The sky remains largely clear, the sun warms, but not too much. The readings show a range of about 17°C in the cooler hours to around 24°C in the afternoon – exactly what many of us expect on a calm October day.

How the day feels

In the morning it's fresh but not cold: a light jacket is advisable. By around 10 a.m. temperatures rise to about 19°C, by midday around 23–24°C. In the late afternoon the temperature only falls slightly and stays pleasant at around 21°C. If you’re planning an evening stroll at the harbor, you’ll find mild 20°C – no need for scarves or umbrellas.

Air pressure, humidity and wind

The air pressure remains stable at about 1020 hPa, humidity is moderate at around 55–60%. A light wind comes from the southern directions (roughly 180–200°) with gusts around 3–4 m/s. In short: It blows enough to keep the air fresh, but not so much that parasols or tables topple over.

What this means for your plans

0% chance of rain means: leave the umbrella at home. Perfect for a stroll through the weekly market, a coffee on the Plaça or a short walk to Cala Figuera. If you want to photograph today, expect clear light in the morning and soft, warm light in the late afternoon – ideal for street scenes or a photo of the old stone walls.

A small tip from me: at midday locals like to seek shade under the plane trees at the market stalls on Carrer Major. There you can easily spend an hour watching people without sweating. So: light clothing, sunglasses, and enjoy.
