This November, the affordable Cinema Days "Fiesta del Cine" return — four days of films at €3.50 in several cinemas on Mallorca. Presale begins on October 29.
Four Days of Cinema at a Bargain Price
\nAs November moves in on the island and the evenings grow cooler, it's the perfect time for many of us to head to the cinema. From 3–6 November, the cinema days “Fiesta del Cine” are back in Spain—and yes, several cinemas on Mallorca are participating again. For those who prefer going out to streaming: the ticket costs only €3.50 during the promotion.
\n\nWhich cinemas participate
\nIn Palma this time, among others, the Ocimax, the CineCiutat, and the Sala Rívoli are involved. There are also screenings planned in shopping centers — for example the cinemas in Porto Pi and FAN. It pays to check the schedules early; the selection usually ranges from family films to big action movies to smaller arthouse gems.
\n\nPresale and little tips
\nThe presale starts on 29 October. Tickets can be bought online or directly at the cinema box office — depending on the venue. My tip: if you come with kids, matinee screenings are often quieter (and easier to park). Evenings are popular for classics and premieres, so arrive a little earlier, or you'll be in the queue.
\n\nWhat you should know
\nThe promotion applies nationwide, but content and times vary locally. Not every screening is automatically part of the promotion — sometimes there are exceptions for special events or 3D versions. And yes, popcorn prices usually stay the same, even with cheap admission. Still: seeing a movie on the big screen for €3.50 is hard to beat.
\n\nI love this little island tradition because it brings people back to the cinema: afternoons with grandma and grandchild, evenings with groups of friends, students with a blanket on their lap. So if you're in the mood for film in November, save the dates, check the presale on 29.10, and set aside some time for snacks and chat — especially in Palma the distances can be longer than you think.
\n\nNote: 3–6 November, €3.50 per ticket, presale from 29 October. Movie night? Definitely.
