Hiking access in Mallorca’s Serra de Tramuntana

In many parts of the Serra de Tramuntana, walking routes are still used as public paths, but the situation is complicated because much of the land is privately owned. A new draft law has raised concern because it could give landowners more say over access and rerouting. The actual right to walk depends on whether a path is formally public or crosses private land.
