Cala Millor restaurant provisional closure over worker conditions and hygiene

Inspectors found 15 employees, including three without valid residence permits, and twelve registered only as part-time workers but actually working long hours, with shifts up to 13 hours a day, seven days a week. They also reported serious hygiene deficiencies in storage and handling and workers sleeping in makeshift rooms beside the kitchen. The health authority ordered a provisional closure and the operator was given ten days to remedy the deficiencies, with sanctions possible from the labor inspectorate.
