Jewelry for Autumn 2025: What’s Catching the Eye in Mallorca

From market stalls in Palma to the café by the coast: these five jewelry trends for Autumn 2025 add personality to any look — practical and a little cheeky.

Autumn on the island, jewelry as a small statement

The wind brings the first chilly evenings, the cafés at Plaça Major are serving hot chocolate again and at the Mercat de l’Olivar the stalls rattle — time to refresh your autumn wardrobe with new jewelry pieces. I walked through Palma last week along Passeig Mallorca and actually spotted little details everywhere that slip nicely into everyday outfits. Here are my five personal favorites for Autumn 2025.

1. Hair cuffs: No hairstyle, no problem

These small metal cuffs are practical and look damn good. Whether you secure a quick bun early in the morning or tame a half-open mane in a café — a hair cuff makes it look instantly neater. Especially lovely: models with fine engravings that you still notice while drinking coffee.

2. Y-necklaces: A touch of the 2000s, worn discreetly

The Y-necklace is back, but not as a flashy appearance; rather as the piece that completes a plain shirt or V-neck tee. I saw a young woman in Santa Catalina wearing exactly such a fine chain — simple elegance, no show.

3. Colorful glass beads: Retro without rules

Glass beads in bold colors instantly lift the mood. At the market next to fresh figs and olives I saw a vendor offering necklaces in wild color combinations. Nostalgic, playful, but by no means kitschy — perfect for layering with simple metal chains.

4. Sculptural jewelry: Jewelry as a mini sculpture

Shapes are getting bigger, more abstract, almost architectural. A wide ring or an earring with an unusual silhouette is enough to elevate a plain coat. These are pieces you wear intentionally — not to hide.

5. Metal-mixing: Gold and silver meet again

Old-fashioned rules? Forget them. Now people mix gold with silver and sometimes even a bit of stainless steel. The result looks urban and individual — perfect when you combine vintage finds with new pieces.

My tip: Try the flea market at the Plaça on the weekend (around 11 a.m. is liveliest). Wear a simple outfit, experiment with a standout ring or necklace, and see how one small detail changes your look. Jewelry should be fun — and in Mallorca it shows best.
