Cala Millor on August 10, 2025: A Mild Beach Day with Summer Vibes
Blue sky, a light east breeze and pleasant temperatures around 27–28 °C – perfect for a day at Playa de Cala Millor. Tips on parking, cafés and beach timing.
Cala Millor in the Morning: Promenade, Coffee and Sea Air
Anyone who was out early today on the waterfront promenade of Cala Millor will know the scene: a few joggers, seagulls, the scent of fresh coffee and the first tourists still bleary-eyed over their breakfast. I was there myself around 7:30 — the small cafés already had cakes ready, the rows of seats not yet completely full. The sky was clear and the sun promised a tranquil summer day — as noted in Cala Millor in the Sunshine: A Perfect Summer Day at the Beach.
Temperatures and Feel
The measurements for August 10, 2025 are more pleasant than expected: a minimum temperature of 22.8 °C and a daytime maximum around 28.0 °C. In the morning it's about 23–24 °C, during the day the thermometer moves around 27–27.7 °C. Even the night stays mild at roughly 25.6 °C. In short: no heat shock, but that cozy Mallorcan warmth that smells of salt water, sunscreen and grilled fish (see Cala Millor: Summer Warmth and Mild Nights – Perfect for Beach Days and Evening Strolls).
Wind, Humidity and Pressure
Air pressure is stable at about 1020 hPa, humidity is at a moderate 54 %. A light east wind blows from roughly 92° at about 4.1 m/s, gusts around 2.9 m/s. That's enough for the palms on the paseo to whisper and the kites on the beach to flutter gracefully — but not so much that sunshades are in danger of taking off.
How the Weather Feels
The felt temperature in the afternoon is about 28 °C. That's comfortable for activity: you can lie on the beach for a long time, go for a swim or take a bike ride toward Sa Coma without immediately seeking shade. For those sensitive to heat, early morning or late evening is still recommended for outdoor activities.
Chance of Rain and Clouds
Rain? Practically none. The forecast estimates a probability of precipitation of 0 %, cloud cover is a low 7 %. A flawless day for sun worshippers and walkers on the promenade, similar to the conditions described in Cala Millor on August 18: A classic summer day — sun, sea and light breeze.
Practical Tips from Cala Millor
A few local tips to make the day more relaxed: the promenade starts to fill up from around 9 a.m.; if you want a quiet spot on your lounger, set up early. Small parking spaces on Calle Cala Millor are usually still available until about 10 a.m. — after that it gets tighter. The kiosk on the corner serves a strong café con leche and knows many faces from past holidays.
For families: don't forget shaded spots and water bottles, because in the afternoon the search for a shady place on Playa de Cala Millor can become a bit hectic. If you like sailing or stand-up paddling: the light east wind provides gentle waves, ideal for beginners.
Evening Plans and Small Notes
In the evening it hardly cools down — a light jacket is enough if the wind picks up. For a sundowner on the promenade, remember insect repellent, although the breeze usually keeps the pests at bay. And: lifeguards are present during peak times, but still keep an eye on swimmers, especially children.
Looking Ahead
In short: a very favorable beach day lies ahead. Perfect for an early swim in the crystal-clear water, an ice cream during a walk or a stroll along the coast in the evening sun. I'll go for a swim later — and if you're out and about too: maybe we'll meet at the water, with sand under our feet and the sound of the waves in our ears.
