Golf, Sun, Good Vibes: The 37th Golf Trophy at Son Gual

Over 100 participants, tombola grand prize: cruise and a note about September

On Sunday, 24 May 2026, the well-kept lawns of Son Gual offered more than the usual chirping of cicadas: drives, laughter and the occasional clinking of champagne glasses accompanied a day that smelled of summer. A date is already set for the next edition: on 12 September the tee off will take place at Golf de Alcanada. For players this is good news: the tournament falls into the more pleasant autumn period, when the sea is a little cooler and the air clearer – ideal golf weather.

What events like this mean for Mallorca is visible not only in the prizegivings: they bring people together, fill clubhouses and support local service providers. Small businesses, from physiotherapists to sandwich suppliers, benefit on such days just as much as the catering sector and the tourism industry in neighboring towns.
