Stabbing at Plaza Gomila: Bladder Pierced — What’s Missing Now
One man stabs, a busy street falls silent. Who protects residents and tourists in the evenings on the plazas?
Late on Friday afternoon, around 5:20 p.m., a quiet street corner in Palma erupted into commotion: a man collapsed in front of a pharmacy at Calle Joan Miró No. 17 after suffering multiple stab wounds. The victim apparently had come from a bar on Plaza Gomila. Rescue workers stabilized him on site and transported him in critical condition to Son Espases University Hospital; a stab wound to the abdomen is said to have pierced the bladder, and there were two injuries to an arm.
