Soller on 26 September 2025: Blue sky and mild late-summer air
A sunny day in Soller: mild 23–24 °C, hardly any wind, dry air. Perfect for a walk through the orange groves, a tram ride to the sea and an ensaimada on the Plaça.
Blue sky over Soller – a day to breathe
Morning at the Plaça presents a familiar scene: people in light jackets, a queue in front of the small café, the church tower bells in the distance and the smell of freshly baked ensaimadas. 26 September 2025 shows itself here on a particularly friendly side – clear skies, mild temperatures and that breeze that flows through the valley, slowing down everyday life for a few hours, much like Soller on 12 September 2025: A mild, relaxed late-summer day.
Temperatures: a true late summer
Thermometers start early at about 16.3 °C and rise during the day to around 23.8 °C. In the afternoon the temperature falls slightly to roughly 21.8 °C, and in the evening it is a pleasant 18.4 °C. In short: T-shirt weather during the day, but don't forget a light jacket for sitting on a terrace or for an evening stroll.
How it feels
The felt temperatures are very close to the measured values – in the morning about 16.2 °C, during the day around 23.4 °C and in the evening around 18.1 °C. Perfect conditions to wander the lanes unhurriedly, visit the orange stalls at the harbour or drive to Cala Deià. You don't sweat, you enjoy – a rare but very welcome combination.
Air, wind and sea
The air is pleasantly dry with about 43% relative humidity, and the air pressure remains stable at around 1019 hPa. A light west‑northwest wind at roughly 2.4 m/s (direction ~281°) adds a fresh touch, with gusts remaining moderate. Cloud cover is practically 0%, no rain in sight – so an unobstructed view of the rugged contours of the Serra de Tramuntana.
If you head to the sea early, you can still hear the engines of the small fishing boats telling stories of the morning catch; later the tram's clatter and the murmur on the promenade blend into a typical Soller soundtrack.
What to do on a day like this
This kind of weather invites small, honest plans: a stroll through the orange groves, a visit to the weekly market, the tram ride to Port de Sóller or a walk to the mirador. The bakery still sells warm ensaimadas at 10 a.m., and the market on the Plaça is still manageable – plenty of time to listen to a vendor tell you about the last orange harvest.
For photographers: the contrasts are good, the light is soft enough for portraits and backlit shots along the hairpins to the coast. For connoisseurs: a cup of café con leche on a sunny terrace, people-watching and perhaps a glass of local wine.
Why this day is good for Soller
Such mild late-summer days spread visits across the village – the Plaça fills up, the small shops get customers, and the tram hums along reliably. It's not a mass influx but a quiet revival of the local scene: vendors, cafés and fishermen benefit without the village being overrun, much as in Soller on 14 September 2025: Warm, lightly cloudy day. And for locals it's a breather after the high summer rush.
You can allow yourself a little irony: Mallorca's weather likes to play with our plans, as it did on Soller on 24 August 2025: Gray in the Sky, Warm at Heart, but on a day like this the weather is even on our side. So: don't forget sunglasses, pack a light jacket and bring some time to slow down.
Soller presents itself on 26 September from its friendly, calm side – ideal for an outing, a longer walk through the orange groves or simply a few hours in which the world ticks a little more slowly. And if the tram departs punctually at 09:15, that's almost like a promise for the day.
