On the early evening of October 2 the Lobster Club in Puerto Portals will sound different again: instead of the usual conversations along the harbour promenade there will be footsteps on the wooden jetty, soft music, the clink of glasses and the distant roar of the sea. Organisers Yvonne Struzek and Felix Wille invite for the third time to HAUTE NUIT, an evening that brings together fashion, art and fine dining — for a selected audience seeking such encounters.

The format is deliberately intimate: the Pink Panthers Collectors Club brings international fashion into Mediterranean light, Lights, Runway, Sea: Pink Panther Evening at the Lobster Club in Puerto Portals, curates artworks and creates space for conversation. The evening is moderated, among others, by Jana Azizi; the artistic programme features works by Vivian Atienza and the Swiss urban-pop artist ROTI. As a partner, specialist Dr. Monika Brück is on board, whose work between medicine and natural aesthetics emphasises the connection between wellbeing and lifestyle.

What is shown here is less an exhibition of status symbols than an attitude. On the catwalk appear looks for mild island evenings, designer pieces that are plausible to wear in a harbour like Puerto Portals — after dinner at a small harbour restaurant such as Runway on the Quay: Janina's Boutique Restaurant in Puerto Portals, on a stroll along the pier, unpretentious yet present. Sponsors like SAY Carbon Yachts complement the scene with maritime technology; Zigarren Herzog brings a tasting aimed at friends of refined aromas. From the perspective of everyday life in Mallorca this is more than a glamorous evening: such events bring regular guests, residents and local providers to the same table. HAUTE NUIT represents one side of the island that some know and many appreciate: personal, sophisticated, with a touch of big-city flair but rooted in Mallorcan ways. Whoever walks along the pier that evening does not only hear the music and the laughter — they feel a small but fine cultural movement that shows how versatile Mallorca can be.
